Biography

Vyacheslav Zubkov received his musical education at M.Lysenko Kyiv Specialized Secondary Music School and P.Chaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (class of Prof. B.Arkhimovich). Vyacheslav is a laureat of many music competitions. He is a winner of  II-nd International Competition in Memory of V.Horowitz (1997,Kyiv,Ukraine), Marsala International Competition (2000, Italy), Rachmaninov All-Ukrainian Competition (1993,Kherson); also Vyacheslav took the III prize at the I-st International V. Krainev Competition (1992,Kharkiv,Ukraine),V prize at the I-st Governor International Competition (2000,Saratov,Russia) and VI prize at I.Paderewsky International Piano Competition in Bydgoszcz (2001,Poland).

 Over his music career Vyacheslav performed in many countries all around the world: Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Croatia, Holland, Russia, Moldova, Belarus and the USA.  Among them the appearance on the stage of “Concertgebouw” in Amsterdam with “Kiev Youth orchestra”  in 1994 (where he made a CD-recording of Nino Rota`s concerto) and at “Carnegie Hall” in New York with a group of Horowitz Competition laureats(1998);  recitals at the Festival in Bochum (Germany,2000) , at the Spring Festival in Budapest (Hungary, 2000), at the “Gdanska Jesien Pianistyczna” (Poland, 2009); chamber concerts in Torun (Poland, 2008), at the Festival “Chisinau`s Spring” (Moldova,2010, vocal and instrumental concert);  recitals in different halls in Moscow(2011-2013) ; also he visited most of the Philharmonic Society of Ukraine and has effective cooperated with leading professional orchestras and conductors in Ukraine.
During recent years pianist has cooperated with culturologist and violinist Maestro Michail Kazinik. Their cooperative perfomances held in Russia (Moscow, St.Petersburg, Cheliabinsk, N.Novgorod, Kazan, Izhevsk, Dubna, Omsk), Belorussia (Minsk), Kazakhstan(Almaty), Latvia (Riga), Estonia(Tallinn), Finland (Helsinki), Austria (Wien), and USA (New York, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia); in 2015 they took part in 58th Chaikovsky Festival; in 2017, in Omsk they made recording for the teleproject about Russian music.
In February 2017 Viacheslav had a recital at Olsztyn Philharmonic(Poland) with program “Piano transcriptions : from Baroque to Jazz”.
